affiliate links in discounts

I am having trouble with the following situation: We have an affiliate that gets 100 euro per sold product X but the client he sends also gets 50 Euro off.

Lets say product is 350 euro, affiliate sends his client to our site with affiliate ID, then that person should see the product for 300 euro. When he buys it, the affiliate gets 100 euro in his account. we keep 200.

I was hoping I could assign a discount to an affiliate but did not see that option. Now it still needs a separate discount coupon for people coming from that affiliate.

Did I miss something or is this not (yet) possible.

Hi,

The affiliation commission is for the whole order while discounts apply to prices directly everywhere on the website (products listing, product page, cart, order, etc).
So that's why there is only a link possible between the affiliates and coupons, as coupons also apply to the whole order.
