Incorrect Cart Module Total

Hello, there.

Good evening!

The Total in the Your Cart module (this was reproduced in the Hikashop demo site) is incorrect before the user clicks on the on the "Proceed to Checkout" button.

Please see attached.

The "Shipping" line in the Your Cart module should be recalculated and displayed as the products are added/removed. Otherwise, the Total in the Your Cart module should only show the sum of the products prices (minus discount) and before shipping charges are applied.

Please let me know how to correct this?

There Checkout configuration can be of any sequence. I just used whatever was in the Hikashop demo at the time. This is not the problem.

Apologies but I forgot to mention the crucial steps involved.

The steps are:

a) add products to the cart
b) checkout
c) add the coupon voucher
d) logout
e) log back in

I have raise another error (see post #184034) that stems from logging out and logging back in. I think some data are not re-populated upon logging back in when they should be.

I've followed your instructions, but everything seemed to work fine on my end and the total was correctly loaded with every value (payment/shipping/products/coupon/taxe prices), can you give me more information about the issue that you were having ?
