git and hikashop

i don't remenber wich post and when but the answer was about change HKS code in a php file locate under administrator .
a) Does when use hikashop , we need to edit HKS file under this directory ?
b) What is the best way to create a .ignore file that contain the list of all directories create by HKS under this administrator directory ?
I find a .ignorefile in git server for joomla 2.5 .
c) should i git all the joomla server on only ( for designer purpose) the templates name ? in a way many assets from joomla extension ( core or not) ll not be locate in my templatename folder !!

there is relation . If i need to custom hikashop and go to HKS php code i ll change the code and I want to "versioning " / manage my changes. i dont know if override (copy HKS php file in inside templatesname/html/ ...) can be done in all cases. The same question could be : Do we need in some case modify HKS core php file ? ( modify the real file install after installation , i don't mean copy a php file somewhere else or rename it and then change the code ) .
if the answer is yes ; i ll initiate my git for manage all php file install by HKS . if not i ll create a gitignore file.
