the shipping method is delivery how to add it

I search about how i can add the delivery as a shipping method, so its a restaurant and use car delivery as a method
how i can add delivery and add price of this delivery?
I think its a flat rate price for delivery

I used the manual from shipping method under configurations, and add new and give a title of delivery and price of 3 dollars, then publish and save but still did not show at the checkout time, any advice thanks

Hi,

1. Double-check that Shipping is part of the checkout workflow.
2. If your products have no weights entered, double-check that "Force shipping regardless of weight" is set to "Yes" in the system configuration under -> Checkout -> Shipping & Payment.
3. If #1 and #2 are good but it still doesn't work, best post a screenshot of the configuration of the delivery shipping method.

Read the documentation: you can use language overrides to change anything to whatever you want: hikashop.com/download/languages.html#modify

its not language, its the word, at the check out page it says shipping i want to change it to delivery

Sorry, but it is language. Words are language, and even if you have only one language installed, then you need to override that specific text string which is now saying "Shipping" to say something else in that language.

So, please read the bottom section "How to modify translations for my precise case?" on the page I linked to, and follow the instructions given there.
