Website is very slow

-- HikaShop version -- : 2.3.5
-- Joomla version -- : 2.5.28
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : safari chrome

Hey guys,
since we installed hikashop on our website, the site is extremely slow. Some pages load up to 5 seconds (even though there are no products on the site..). We also have a site with the same setup (server,joomla,template), but a different shop system and we don't have a problem there.

So maybe you got a solution to speed the site up! ;)

Hi,

I checked your website but even on pages where HikaShop is not used, the website is as slow as on pages where HikaShop is used. So I don't think it comes from HikaShop, especially that no one reported such slow downs, and especially without any product.
Are you sure that you didn't install something else ? Or maybe it comes from something else you activated ? Maybe your template ?
