How to change the default settings product creatio

Hi,
I would like to change the default settings when i create products in order to save time .
I have a default tax category which is unwanted as default and i would like to change the default to none.
Also i would like to change the default value for layout on product page which is 'inherit'' and change it into default (permanantely so that i wont have to do it every time i upload a product) Is that possible?
Also i would like to find out if its possible to upload multiple images at once for products and not one by one as it now

Hi,

You can potentially use the mass actions for that.
Via System > Mass actions, create a new mass action on the product data, set the trigger on "After a product is created" and in the actions add one to update the values set on the product_tax_id and another one on product_quantity_layout.

Regarding the images, you can potentially upload them via ftp directly.

Could you please specify where exactly is the ''mass actions' because i cant find it anywhere in global configuration ?

In Hikashop menu under System.

I did create a mass action with this settings : Data: Product, Triggers=After a product is created , Filters=Product columns/Product_quantity_layout = 1. I didnt put anything on Limitations because i dont understand it and i didnt put anything on Actions. it doesnt work (this is to change the default value for product quantity from unlimited to 1). Setting up a mass action like that will set the product quantity to 1 every time a product is created:
take.ms/OLhEv

Please check that your mass action is set up like that.
In a previous post you wrote "product_quantity_layout", do you want to change the default product layout ?
If it is, the best way will be to do that in the main configuration of HikaShop.
