-- HikaShop version -- : 2.3.5
-- Joomla version -- : 3.3.6
-- PHP version -- : 5.5.12

Hello,
after migrate my joomla from 2.5 to 3 I have updated my Hikashop to the 2.3.5 version.
The old Hikashop version (1.6) was still there and I have to remove it from the database.
Whatever the way I install it there is always a problem with the admin menu (see the attachment).
Can you please tell me how to fix it ?

Hi,

www.hikashop.com/support/support/documen...html#display_general

Menu position : As you might have already seen, HikaShop does not use the standard joomla menu interface. We decided to do our own interface in order to handle an additional level of menus so that you can easily reach any functionality of the HikaShop backend. Our custom menu is added under the title of the page by default on 2.5 and below but some backend templates have a reduced size for this area, thus hiding the menu. So you have here the possibility to add the HikaShop menu above the main area where you should not have such issues. If you upgrade from 1.5 or 2.5 to 3.0 or above, you will have to turn off that option after the update.

thank you, the menu look better now.

but I have another question, the new installation doesn't overwrite the previous ones.
now I have 3 install of hikashop !
the old one 1.5.8 that I can't remove from the manager.
and two (?) 2.3.5 versions.

what can I do to fix this issue ?

We've never seen that, but it shouldn't be a problem. You have only one set of files and one set of tables in the database. So it's just that HikaShop is registered three times in the extensions installed but you only have it once really.
If that doesn't doesn't break anything, then you can just ignore it.
Otherwise, you would have to edit the joomla template #__extensions via your phpmyadmin and remove the unnecessary entries for HikaShop but I can't guarantee the result so make sure that you do a backup first before doing that.
