Is it possible for Hikashop to send out a daily email to the shop owner of uncompleted (i.e. created but not confirmed) orders? It doesn't have to be daily, it could be another frequency, but something to alert the site owner to orders that have been made but not paid for.

In the same way, if a customer creates an order, but then doesn't go on to complete it - but leaves it in their cart - to be sent an email at a later date that they have an uncompleted order?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

There is something in AcyMailing to send to the customers emails about non confirmed orders:
www.acyba.com/acymailing/388-automatic-r...s-with-hikashop.html

For the sending of an email to the shop owner, you can configure a mass action via the menu System>Mass actions with an action "send an email" and some filters on the order status of the orders.

Sorry, a question about the mass action option to send an email. I have tested it but it just sends and email with a subject heading and no body data even though a message was included.

Also, can the email include details of the order IDs and amounts that match the filter criteria? I can only see an option to "Display the results" not include the results in the emails? Is there a way to do this?

Hi,

Yes there is indeed a way to do this. You have to select the action "export a csv file" and then fill a valid absolute server path to save the file and you email address. This way a csv file with all the data will be sent to you.

Thanks Xavier. I have set an export path of: media/com_hikashop/upload/export (having added the export sub-folder), but despite the mass action query showing there are "6 results" when I click the Process button to fire the action to test it and email comes through but nothing is attached and there is not a CSV folder saved in the Export path folder.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

You have to set an absolute server path, the one you filled is a relative one and for the website.
The path should be something like: /var/www/yoursite/media/com_hikashop/upload/export/file.csv

The filename must be specified too ;) (with the extension)

Thanks Xavier. I have managed to get it exporting now. However, one question on this...

The exported CSV is delimited by semicolons which isn't a standard format four our country. Whilst we could encourage the customer to change their default Windows settings the only way of importing into something like Excel is to do an import rather than just open the CSV.

Is there a way we can change the delimiter in Hikashop to insert commas rather than semicolons?

Hi,

Yes you can indeed change the separator from semocolon to comma in Configuration > Main > Files > "CSV separator". :)
