Product image proportion way off.

-- Joomla version -- : 3.3.6

When I upload (even after shrinking) a main image for product it shows as a HUGE image way bigger then the one u uploaded.... any ideas?

Hi,

This certainly come from you settings in HikaShop > Configuration > Main > Images.
If, for example, your image dimensions are 800x100 and in the settings your set 500x500 and use the "crop scale mode" and force the image size, so it will change the original image file size.
Please try to use different settings.
