Breadcrumb style different - why?

-- HikaShop version -- : 2.4.0
-- Joomla version -- : 3.4.0
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : Firefox latest

Hi there,

Can you explain why on 2 separate development sites my breadcrumb appearance is completely different, even though bith sites are running the same version of Joomla and HikaShop and should be same CSS (please see images attached).

Img 1 - Breadcrumbs all on different lines and there is a small graphic at the top of the breadcrumbs. This for me is not the correct breadcrumb style.

Img 2 - Breadcrumb displays as it should, all on one line.

I would be very grateful if you could tell me why this is. What am I missing?

Hi,

The breadcrumb is not display/managed by HikaShop ; it just send information to Joomla to create the breadcrumb path, after that it's Joomla (your template) which display it.
Regarding your page, it looks like the "addon.css" file defines the rules for the UL/LI of the breadcrumb without displaying them in one line.
There is nothing in HikaShop for the CSS of the breadcrumb because we do not display it, your template does.

But what I can told you is that your issue is related to your template/css files; it is not related to HikaShop.

You can use that documentation page to help you to investigate on what is defining the CSS rules.

Hi Jerome,

You are right. The issue is related to the latest Joomla 3.4.0 update. It actually changes the breadcrumb layout. I have fixed by creating an override.
