click on payment just refreshes the page

Upgraded to 2.4.0

Now our users says they cant complete a buy - they keep getting the same page.
On investigating, this seems to be true- at payment page, the page just refreshes..

Please advise and help

Can you give me more details about the issue that you are having through some screenshots for example ?
Does it fix your issue if you change the value of the "Auto submit shipping and payment methods selection" option and test it again ?

Hi when payment selection is done and you try to checkout, the page just refreshes.

Also, I tried to set "Auto submit shipping and payment methods selection" to yes, but when you select payment, the page just goes white.

Please advise and help.
Let med know where to send admin credentials, so you can see for your self.

i got the same problem, after update to 2.4.0 the checkout button is invalid, when click it the page just refreshed

They indeed have to click twice on the "finish" button on the checkout page to reach the payment page.
But actually they can checkout.

Please give us a screenshot of your checkout settings in order to reproduce the issue on our end.

WHAT ??? I never heard of a shop system, that requeries 2 clicks on a button, why in the world should they, and more importent, how is the customer to know ??????

As I started to say - This behavior has only started AFTER upgrade to 2.40....So something must have changed in the software, because we havent changed anything.

If you are having a blank page, can you :
- Activate the Joomla debug mode ("Administration->Global configuration->System->Debug System/Language")
- Set the "error reporting" option of the Joomla configuration to "maximum"
- Test it again so that you can see if it display an error message which will help you to understand from what your issue is coming
