popups like frontend.css are behaving strange

Hi, I'm experiencing strange behaviour while trying to edit frontend.css in Firefox, it shows me a white screen and the iframe does not seem to contain any data. [edit] this seems to be a pop-up display issue that was mentioned fixed in version 2.4.0?
It also appears when I try to change the payment image. This pop-up is also empty.
Trying in Chrome this window shows me the complete website (see attachement), IE give blank pop-up. Happens on multiple sites.

Although the site is shielded, access can be provided.

I'm not aware of doing really fancy stuff but also can't seem to find the cause of this.

Anybody any hints on how to find the reason of this behaviour ?

Please try to install the latest package from our website (still 2.4.0 but with some fixes).

Maybe it's just me but if something is changed in the package a minor version change would be helpfull
