Hello, we recently updated our Hikashop Business to the latest version and have been unable to get the Australia Post shipping plugin to display at all. We have configured some manual plugins but we need this aupost plugin to work correctly.

Hello,
Firstly can you follow each points of the "Shipping methods" section of the Hkashop FAQ for your Australia post shipping method : www.hikashop.com/support/faq.html#ship

Hello Mohamed, yes we followed through that list before contacting you. The update has caused huge problems with products being removed from categories, multiple loss of functions on the website, and of course the checkout issues. We have had a developer working on it for 2 days now, and whilst she has managed to get the Australia Post plugin working, we are still trying to recover from all the other problems that were created with the update.

We lost the PayPal payment facility in the update. This took 3 hours to rectify yesterday. The difficulty here also was that we were not aware that this had failed. We have also lost a lot of the structure that was on the website which we are working on. Layout was changed, probably due to some features being removed. We are hoping this will be repaired today. Some of the issues appear to be random. Although I'm sure it hasn't been random, it has not been possible yet to find a pattern.

Hello Mohamed, I think we have almost worked through the issues. Edwin from JMS has also been helping. I would like to know is there an easy way to identify a list of all the products in admin that are described as "virtual products" please? We don't have virtual products at all, but there appears to be a large number that has been generated with this update.

Thank you for your offer of help also. This is meaningful, as when we switched from Virtuemart to HS we had difficulties and the "help" we received at the time was not in any way helpful. It left a vary bad impression upon us regarding HS. So once again, thank you.

Hello,
A virtual product is a product which don't have any weight/dimensions.
if you want to list them, note that you can :
- do an SQL request on your database.
- export your products using the mass actions.

It seems this issue is associated with variants. In the past, the weight and dimensions of the parent product seemed to be sufficient but with this update, it seems we need to list everything in the variant as well.

Are variants of a shippable product, where there is no difference in weight or dimensions, therefore listed as virtual products?

I also have a large number of variants displaying as both variants (as we originally had them) but also, all the variants are listed as products. We don't want variants appearing with as products. Where do I fix this up please?

If you have set a weight and dimensions on your Product, its variants will inherit the weight/dimensions of their parent product.
But note that you can easily add a weight on your product variants using the mass actions.

We don't want variants appearing with as products.

What do you exactly mean by it ? where are your variants appearing ?

The link below is of a product that is actually supposed to be simply a variant of a product.
coffeemachineparts.com.au/component/hikashop/product/2036-
The main product is still functioning with its variants also as can be seen here:
coffeemachineparts.com.au/component/hika...eel-tamper-flat-base
So, we want variants as in the second link, but we do not want the individual variations listed.

Hello,
The product with the ID number 2036 don't seem to be a variant, can you show me some screenshots of how did you configured it ?
