Hi Nicolas,
I have just installed the latest version of HikaShop onto one of my test sites in preparation for a new client build. I have increased the memory_limit for PHP from 24M to 64M and then to 128M all of which appears to make no difference.

Currently this is an unpopulated shop and I was just going through the set up so there are no products or categories added as yet. There is very little content and only a few menu items currently set.
Interestingly I had problems loading the tar.gz version and had to use the .zip version (not sure if this is relevant ?) but now whenever I attempt admin changes e.g.to add a product or category, I get an "Allowed memory size exhausted" error, see example above.

I know there are other people who have had issues with this in the past but currently I have not found any of their experiences useful to me. This is a test site so if you would like access it is not a problem, the site is not yet live.I have spent about a day on this so far with no real progress so any assistance you feel able to provide would be appreciated.

Hi,

You indeed have to change the memory_limit, if when you set it to "64" "128" there is no changes that is potentially because the changes done had no effects.

The best way is to set the new value in the php.ini file directly, else that can be done in the .htaccess
