Hi,

There is a difference between a characteristic value and a variant using that characteristic value.

There is no bug in HikaShop ; you just do not have any variant for your product with the characteristic value "05".
Because you're using the "automatic variant generation", when you add the characteristic, all possible variants are created ; but that won't work with values that you will create afterwards.

Hi,

We don't have that issue with HikaShop 2.4.0 so updating would fix the solution I think.
Otherwise, simply turn off the "error reporting" setting of the Joomla configuration, which should be off anyway on an online website.
