Hi,

Try to turn off the "force size" setting of your HikaShop configuration.

Hello Nicolas,

Thanks for your help! The black lines disappeared but some images are broken. See attached. I think that the problem is with the .gif images.

Regards, Leo.

Hi,

I don't see why it would be linked to the force size setting.
Could you delete the folder images/com_hikashop/upload/thumbnails via FTP so that HikaShop will then regenerate all the thumbnails ? Does that help ?
If not, can you give a link to that product page so that we can look at the issue ?

Hi,

I know that it is not the perfect answer but I can't tell you why the image is not processed correctly.
That is linked with the PHP GD library and I don't think that we can do something to fix it in HikaShop.

But I can recommend you to use PNG files instead of GIF files. The compression is generally better and you can also have the support of the transparency ; plus you can have a better palette of colors.

Hi,

You can still generate the thumbnails thanks to, for example, XnConvert software, this way once the thumbnails are generated you just have to import them to the thumbnail folder via FTP. No problem with the PHP GD library when resizing the images.
