Hi,

After the update to version 2.5.0 on the Product page a lot of strings are in English and not in Dutch. The highlighted text in the attached screenshots is in English and should be in Dutch. The latest language file that I can find is for Hikashop 2.3.5...
What is the correct way to solve this issue.

Regards, Benny.

Hi,

Please don't blame HikaShop, they can't speak all languages... ;)

Did you check the documentation? Look here: hikashop.com/support/support/documentation/10-languages#modify

If you're planning a literal translation, please consider sharing it with the community. Thanks!

Hi,

It was more meant like asking what to do then to blame Hikashop.
Should I wait for a translation file from Hikashop or create my own translation...

I decided to make my own translation now for the 2.5.0 strings.

Regards, Benny.

Hi,

Yes, we are not fluent in the 40 languages that HikaShop propose thanks to his community.

Your issue is because these are new translation keys.
Go in the Languages tab of the HikaShop configuration and edit your Dutch translation file.
There, go at the end of the file and you'll see the english translations that you can translate.
Then, you can use the "share" button in order to share your translations with the community and we'll integrate them on our end so that other Dutch people can see the interface completely translated.
