Slight breadcrumb issue

-- HikaShop version -- : 2.4.0
-- Joomla version -- : 3.4.3

For the most part, Hikashop is working ok, but I have a slight issue with the breadcrumbs.
My store landing page URL is /shop/
However, when I click on "Shop" in the breadcrumb, it is actually taking me to /shop/category.html

Any way to correct that behavior and take me back to the /shop/ landing page?

I went ahead and did an update to 2.5.0 and unfortunately the issue still exists. Any ideas on how I could fix?

Sorry for the delayed reply... been working on other facets of the site. I'm also not sure why category.html is being added to the end of the SEF URL. I can definitely arrange to give you FTP access, but I'm wondering if I could just do an htaccess redirect so that when the URL /shop/category.html comes up it simply redirects to /shop/ ??

The landing page menu item is configured as HikaShop » category, but I'm assuming this is normal.
