Hi

I use Purity III wich now i know isnt compatible with Hikashop, i dont want to modify the template just because i might get conflit with other modules and softwares i use, where can i find a bootstrap 2 template that works right with hikashop?

i like purity because has a nice layout (panel) system that allows to define in several window sizes wich content module will be display or hidden, and has a lot of options for modules, but many bootstrap 2 only have a responsive version and u cant hide panels in some windows sizes, they only position different for celphone small window, then it looks like a mess as some panels are not designed for cellphone view or shouldnt appear in an small window version.

I tried searching for 2013 and 2014 templates, also tried by bootstrap 2, but i only find templates that are bootstrap 3 or templates that dont specify wich bootstrap version they are or bootstrap 2 templates without any layout option or little options, so im kind of frustrated... i already tested reviver, t3, dekor, many jsn, gantry, elastica...etc like a week installing and uninstalling templates.

Wich templates do you recomend for hikashop that are bootstrap 2 and also have a lot of layout options similar to purity and sticky megamenu?

Hi,

Please note that the following is only my personal opinion. No responsibilities must be assumed. ;)

These two template makers are building their templates on Bootstrap 2, plus adding lots of custom classes or shortcuts for greater flexibility. They offer quite a variety of templates coming with may features such as sliders, sticky menus etc, and keep frequently adding to their portfolios, meaning they are reliable providers, around since years and likely to stay, and not one of the "one-hit wonders" which disappear after a short while:

Shape 5 - great variety, impressive proprietary "framework", tons of "s5" custom classes for easy layout and customization, Very good support. Template "GCK Store" is somewhat pre-set for HikaShop, too. As a member, they also give you access to a nice collection of premium plugins and modules. I've worked with their templates, and can really recommend them.

RSJoomla - they are probably best known for RSform! Pro, but also have a proper template collection at attractive pricing. Also very good support. You should definitely take a look.

Then there is also
Yootheme - their templates are not built on BS 2 exclusively, but they do have the most relevant BS 2 classes etc on board (if activated in template backend); though their strength is the very powerful UIkit (part of every Warp 7 template). They sort of combine it, and both together gives you almost limitless flexibility out of the box. Frankly, their support could be better, but if you're not a newbie to HTML and CSS and able and willing to study UIkit , then you will likely have no troubles anyway. For whatever it's worth, they are my main template provider of choice, it's what I use most of the time because IMHO it's the most flexible and powerful toolkit, light and fast for good pageload results, and (again, IMHO) blowing BS 3 and else straight out of the water.

P.S.:
You see the links here above being "clean" and without affiliate details, because I'm not here to "sell" something. However, if you consider my post helpful enough and decide signing up with one of them, I'll appreciate if you use these links which include my affiliate details:
Shape 5
RSJoomla
(Yootheme doesn't offer an affiliate program)

Thank you! :)

Hi,

I would also list joostrap.com/
It provide bootstrap v3 templates, but usually, it's relatively easy to make v3 templates compatible with v2 extensions:
