thumbnails no longer re-sizing on product page

-- HikaShop version -- : 2.5.0
-- Joomla version -- : 3.4.4
-- PHP version -- : 5.3.29

I have recently started updating product photos and now when i go to the product page when i click on the product thumbnail the popup image is the same size as the thumbnail. I'm not sure if or where a setting was changed.

i created a demo user account for you to see
user: hikashop
pass: hikashop

to view the issue go to category "Ashcatchers"
the products with the id codes PPD-27 and PPD-26 the images are larger and the popups work

all the rest have smaller images and the popups no longer work .. the are the new images that were just uploaded.

i can create an admin account for you if you would like.

Please give us a screenshot of your settings in Configuration > Main > Images.
And are you sure that the images uploaded are big sized ?

The resolution of the new images which do not resize is 1000x1500 pixels @ 72 dpi saved in PNG format (PPD-0)

the resolution the the old images that Do resize are 648x648 @ 72 dpi saved in JPG format (PPD-26)

The screenshot of the settings is missing.
Another question, if you try to upload the image directly via FTP, are the images correct ?

i have tried uploading from withing hikashop and via ftp directly . the result is the same.
