-- PHP version -- : 5.6.12

I was wondering if this is doable with hikashop. Basically i'm looking for a quick an easy way to add paypal DONATE functionality to my site. No products, just a small (simple cart like module) where the user enters the amount, (optionally picks a currency), and hits donate, then gets redirected to the paypal site to complete the process.

Is this possible? If so, how

Hi,

There is no such feature in HikaShop because it's not a e-commerce feature.
HikaShop manage products, carts, orders, invoices, shipping, addresses. A paypal donate does not need that.

Hello,
Checking that thread will probably help you : www.hikashop.com/forum/development/88035...a-script.html#221213

Here is the custom price plugin, if you want to use is you'll have to :
- create a category named donation
- create a product named donation set the price to 0 and the category to donation

- go to "Hikashop -> Display -> Custom fields"
- create a new field
- set the "label" field to amount
- set the "table" field to item
- set the "Column name" field to amount
- set the "field type" to texte
- set the "default value" to 0
- add the donation category

- add the custom price plugin and enable it.

By using the custom price plugin you'll be able to set a donation price, and then you'll just have to use a Paypal payment method.

I'll take a look at it, i was hoping not to have to use a "product" method to avoid paypal taking a percentage.
