different problems with hikashop

Our subscription is valid until 12 July 2017. Why we get no support?

I need a very important answer! I get know answer until 30.10.2015. You have an access to our page!

Problem 1:

VPE and Größe are wrong!

We have this same problem by many products! Attached you can also find our import list.


Problem 2:
Open a product in the backend for example 1000-31. Save the product in the backend. Loot at the fronted. The text after the saving is false. When you reimport the import list then the text is correct. When you import our import list, please use the import option from the screenshot!

Problem 3:
We have a problem in the shopping cart with the name of the product.
Please look at the screenshot. The name include the product name, VPE (unit) and the size. This is okay, but the order of the parts are different.

First product: product name + unit + size

Second product: product name + size + unit

This is very confusing. We need one order of the parts!

Hi,

If you look at your picture "Problem_1_Backend.jpg" you'll see that your "standard" product is not published.
Which means that it is not available.. That's why HikaShop is using another product as default, because there is no one available.

About your text/translation issue ; it would be interesting what is that data exactly (the name of the column).
If the data is "altered", it is possible that it contains some HTML content code which can't be translated (because the translation key is not right)

About the name of the variants, I admit that it is strange.
I think it comes from the loading of the variants and the ordering of the values.
It would be interesting to know the data from the table "hikashop_characteristic" for the four values (unit 12, unit 48, size 9, size 10).

Hello Jerome,

please look at our long email conversion, because that the "standard" product isn't published isn't the reason. Please look at your emails there you can find the joomla and the ftp access.

The fact that the default variant is not selected in your example is normal since the variant is not enabled. But the problem is that even if I enable the variant, the default still doesn't correspond to the variant selected as default and that's not normal.
A FTP access might also be necessary in order to look deeper at the problem.

2. I suppose that the value in your custom field is different than the value that you have in your CSV and that it is also different from the translation key you have in your translation file. So the system actually doesn't find it when you edit the product, and when you save it, it just use the default value of the custom field instead of the value of your CSV and since the default value is not in the translation file, you get that behavior. Now I can't verify that theory for sure as I don't have access to your HikaShop configuration page, but that's the only one I can think of.

3. The characteristics order is based on the order of the characteristics in your product edition page. So make sure that it is correct and save it once via the interface. Make sure that it works fine on your website after that. If so, it means that the issue appears after the import of the products as the characteristics ordering is not provided in the CSV.

How can I provide the ordering in the csv? You can find the import file in my first post.

1. I gave you my analyze for the point.
If you think that it is not the solution, it's up to you...
Now, I'll stay on my position except if you gave some proof that I was wrong.. And I think I know enough of the HikaShop code to know that if a variant is not published it can't be used a the default variant.

2. We are here in the forum ; if you want to use the private support by email ; it's your right.
But I won't mix the way of communication in order to provide support.
Also, if I need some credentials ; I'll ask for them. But I currently don't see any interest for FTP accesses.

But I had an information request in my message ; if you want me to go further with your issue ; it could be a good start to give me that information and not some Nicolas citations ; which are in the context totally useless and irrelevant.

To summarize, I don't care about the messages you exchanged with Nicolas and I don't need to know what Nicolas wrote.
If I need that kind of information, I'll discuss with Nicolas directly.

1. I understand your analyze about the screenshot, because I saw the same problem that the variant is not published, but in the import list the variant is published. In the import list you can see the „1“ by published. After a reimport it’s the same. It’s unpublished.

When I cut the alias it works fine. How many signs are allowed as alias?
