default value of one of the characteristics

-- HikaShop version -- : 2.6.0
-- Joomla version -- : 3.4.8
-- PHP version -- : 5.5.30
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : chrome 48.0.2564.116 m

Hey so i understand what the message 'The default value of one of the characteristics of that product isn't available as a variant. Please check the characteristics and variants of that product'

The issue im having is that i know how that message works generally but as far as i understand it shouldnt be there. i included pictures to show what im talking about. The product backend shows both variants are there and under the correct characteristic type with 1 set as a default. In the characteristic Type both of the variants are there as well. On the front end the product is showing both variants and the 2nd variant that is set to the default is in there as a default.

This is why i have no idea why that message is appearing. Any help or direction would be appreciated :)

Hi,

The problem is not with the "Type" characteristic but with the "Toughness" characteristic. As you can see there are no values found for that characteristic.
A variant is a combination of values of characteristics.
If you sell a shirt with two characteristics, color and size, a variant of the shirt might be blue XL, or red M.
So you need values for both characteristics of the product/variants.
