-- HikaShop version -- : 2.6.1
-- Joomla version -- : 3.4.8
-- PHP version -- : 5.6

dear team, after the update on the test server (see credentials sent in: www.hikashop.com/forum/install-update/88...your-sql-syntax.html ) the product listings do not show up anymore.

it should be like this (livesite, prior to hika update):
Part of the message is hidden for the guests. Please log in or register to see it.

but now it doesnt show up the modules...

i also read this similar post, but i dont get it, sorry...
www.hikashop.com/forum/install-update/87...t-update.html#213214

do i need to create new hikashop menus and modules in order for the product listing to show?
there was no need to do so prior to the update...

best regards,
dee

Hi,

There is no need to create new menus and modules.
Edit your menu item via the Joomla menu manager and save it.
You might see a message telling you that you need to delete the file "listing" of the view "category" via the menu Display>Views of HikaShop so that it is compatible with the new system of products listing.

Hi,

Well, I don't know exactly. I've tried to look at the website that you had provided access to on the other thread, but the access was refused. So I wasn't able to see anything.

Hi,

Please give us screenshots of your menu settings in order to reproduce the issue on our end.

Or provide a backend access through our contact form (with a link to that topic).

Hi,

It seems that you doesn't have the message about the "category / listing" view override, but:

you need to delete the file "listing" of the view "category" via the menu Display>Views of HikaShop so that it is compatible with the new system of products listing

At least do a backup of this view, remove it and port back the desired modifications.

i see, thanks. just did that and it worked.

i managed to fix / port back most of the things, except this:
on hikashop module it shows me the title and subheading of the current category i am in...
there is no override, cant find anything, any idea?
see the module on the right side called "Produktkategorien" with the h1 and subheading

should look like here on the live site:

Hi,

The same view files are used for the modules and the menus.
If you want the changes only for the menu, you would have to add such code:
if($this->module){
//display something
}
