I made the changes at order and mail.php but all hikashop "business 2.6.1" went down.
I had to downgrade the hikashop at it's free version to make it work. There are more issues than one like no order list shows up. Just saying that all this is .. sad.

Hi,

Well, we can't do much about it. The problem comes from Joomla 3.5.1 which introduced an incompatibility in their library.
I don't see why the change would break HikaShop. So I can only think that the patch was not applied properly if it brought done the shop.

HI Nicolas;

Hikashop 2.6.2.+ J3.5.1
We are having the same problem... checked the mail.php and order.php all seem good,
but my mails aren't being sent, both contact form emails and order notification emails

Here's the error I'm getting on my contact page :
Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in /home/xxxxxx/public_html/plugins/hikashop/email_history/email_history_class.php on line 175

Help !

Updated to 2.6.3 but... unfortunately , it's still not working .

I still can't access any emails of the email history page either.
I get a broken styled page.
Just the Hikashop main menu loads, in a plain list format (bleu default links with bullets on a white page)
SO I think there might be something wrong with the page code not rendering correctly??

Wait. First I'm not even sure that you have the same problem.
You said that your problem was that the emails were not sent.
But the problem on this thread is that the page crashed with the error "0 invalid address" on the frontend when HikaShop was trying to send an email through Joomla. And thus orders couldn't even be placed and people couldn't register.
Is that your problem ?
If yes and you have the 2.6.3, the only thing left is that you have some missing email address or invalid email address configured in either the settings of the Joomla configuration, or the settings of the emails in System>Emails, or in the Email settings of the HikaShop configuration.

If no, and that your problem is just that the emails are not sending, then there is likely is settings not configured accordingly to your hosting recommendations in the Joomla configuration Emails settings area.

Ever since the 2.6.2 then immediately after the 2.6.3: It's just not working properly
Was before not now !

The contact form is working ( I can confirm)
And I am receiving admin email that a New User Account has been created,
BUT the new user account verification email is not being sent to the New User!??

I 've call the hosting company , which have been extremely helpful and they claim ,
and we can confirm, that the email setting are correct. The email setting is Joomla work (configuration => Send test email = works!), emails are being sent from contact form, and I am receiving admin email, but the New User is not.

PLUS, on the backend, the hikashop email history details page is still a not loading correctly (whit page).

Please I really need to fix this issue , like yesterday !

I've replied to your contact message just now.
For others, I'm putting here a simplified version:

You say that new users are not getting emails.
I've just registered on your website during the checkout and I got the new user account email: take.ms/u2ry9
And that email is sent by HikaShop, so HikaShop IS sending new user emails.
I've actually even finished my order, was redirected to PayPal and I also got the order creation email: take.ms/U92b2
So your checkout is working just fine too.

So we still don't know what is your problem. Please provide: the link to the page with the problem, some screenshots of the problem, an exact procedure to reproduce the problem and a backend access and we'll be able in most cases to provide a solution as soon as we read your message and do our tests.

That's probably because I changed the registration to to no verification.

But, then something weird happened, I changed it back to registration with email confirmation and I worked.
GO figure ! WT...
What I realize it that the email gets placed into the spam folder.
I read about up this, it has something to do with the URL that the spam filters don't like(?)
So that part's Joomla issue.

SO my lesson here is : Check the spam folder !
Oh, and add "Check the spam folder !" to your User registration confirmation email notice too.
or your clients might be making the mistake as me.
