-- HikaShop version -- : 2.6.3
-- Joomla version -- : 3.5.1
-- PHP version -- : 5.5
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : Any

We have a problem with this test site and another that is live

The base URL is currently: www.crackingweb.co.uk/vogue/

Off of that there are four clock types and clicking on one produces this:

www.crackingweb.co.uk/vogue/clocks/grandfather-clocks.html

With a breadcrumb of Home >> Grandfather Clocks

But then clicking on a clock in that category produces a URL of this:

www.crackingweb.co.uk/vogue/product/cave...ather-clock-oak.html

and a breadcrumb of Home >> Cavendish Grandfather Clock Oak

So the breadcrumb doesn't work correctly, but also the URL adds products rather than clocks.

Please can you advise how this can be resolved.

Thanks,
Peter

Hi,

Turn off the "simplified breadcrumbs" setting of the HikaShop configuration.
If you still have a problem, try turning off the "force canonical URLs on listings" setting.

Hi
You said: Turn off the "simplified breadcrumbs" setting of the HikaShop configuration.
But I cannot find that setting. Where is it please?

It's in the "SEF url options" section of the Features tab of the HikaShop configuration.

Thank you for this which has fixed the breadcrumb issue.

The other thing it would be good to sort out is the following:

We want the URL path to show the category the clock is contained in. Currently, we can go down one level but not further.

For example:

www.crackingweb.co.uk/vogue/clocks/wall-clocks.html shows all the clocks in the wall clock category which is perfect.

But if clicking on a single clock in this or other clock categories we get this:

www.crackingweb.co.uk/vogue/clock/nieve-...gory_pathway-14.html

How can this be changed to be:

www.crackingweb.co.uk/vogue/clocks/wall-...ck-in-quarried-stone only without "clock" and without "category_pathway-14.html" at the end.

Thanks in advance for your help with this.

Don't worry. I have found the way to fix this.

Thank you.
