-- HikaShop version -- : 2.6.3
-- Joomla version -- : 3.5.1
-- PHP version -- : 5.5.12

I am redeveloping a site that uses hika 2.3.5 + joomla 3.2.4.

Using offline site duplicates i have upgraded the joomla to 3.5.1 without any problems and upgraded hika to 2.6.3.

I need to use a number of custom fields on product pages and during checkout. After the 2.6.3 upgrade I noticed a problem with my custom fields. None of the fields that I have setup have the green tick buttons for Front-end Back-end Form Back-end Listing settings. Core custom fields still have the green tick buttons. I have attached a screenshot to demonstrate this. Is this a feature of hika 2.6.3 or a problem? The behavior i describe does not happen if I upgrade with hika 2.6.2

Also with the hika 2.6.3 upgrade, old custom fields that were setup prior to the hika uprgade appear properly in the order notification emails, but new custom fields created after the upgrade don't.

Hi,

It is a HikaShop 2.6.3 feature ;)

If you edit a custom field you will see that they can be restricted to some layouts only.
Only on listings, on product page, etc. That's why there is no more the green tick button, because it is no more as generic as before.

You can to enable the display of the custom fields in the emails in the new custom fields settings.

ok thanks.

In the settings of a new field (created after updating hika) I have every Display parameter set to Yes but it still not showing up in emails. What am I missing? I have customised the table layouts of the emails (prior to updating hika to 2.6.3), could this cause it not to appear in the email?

Hi,

Yes, if you have customized emails layouts, it may be the cause of your custom field not showing in the order notification email. You should try it with the default email layout , by removing your customizations through the Emails listing page ("Hikashop->System->Emails").

Don't forget to do a back-up of your Email file before removing your customization so that you won't loose anything.

Thank you.

Hi,

First, download the install package on our website and install it on your end so that you have the latest patches that we've added.
Then, edit the custom fields settings and save them so that the data is properly saved in the database with the way you want to display them.
If it still doesn't work, it might come from the customization of the page. Switch to the default template of Joomla to assert that.
If that's the case, then delete your customization and apply it to the new version of the view file that is causing the problem.
If that's not the case, please provide a screenshot of the settings of the custom field and a link to a product page where you have the problem.

Thank you Nicolas for your response.

The only way is remove the fields and add them again. For some unknown reason the previous fields has been removed after the update.
