-- url of the page with the problem -- : www.westislandnursery.com
-- HikaShop version -- : 2.6.3
-- Joomla version -- : 3.5.1
-- PHP version -- : 5.4
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : Chrome / IE ...

Just purchased the full business version. I am a bit nervous about the multilingual approach used. I apparently have to use Falang or Joomfish to achieve this and that's not very comforting to me as this seems to be an ancient approach to language management with Joomla no ?

Joomfish was a mess in the past and it's now discontinued

I don't know Falang but it is based on Joomfish. If we install it, can this be used solely for Hikashop and not interfere with the regular Joomla multilingual management for the rest of our website ?

Is this a permanent way of working for multilingualism for HikaShop ?

Thanks
Danny

Urgh ...
You also need to BUY Falang for 50euros if you don't want the copyright displayed on every page of your site ?
That's even less fun :-(

Hi,

this seems to be an ancient approach to language management with Joomla no ?

Not really.
If you want to follow the Joomla way it means that you need to duplicate all your products and have one product per language. ; Like you need to have one article per language.
You can also do that in HikaShop but you would have some issues regarding the product code (which need to be unique) and about the product stock.

Is this a permanent way of working for multilingualism for HikaShop ?

Nothing permanent or eternal ; but for the moment it's the best solution we know.
