hi

im having problems with thumbnail sizes. i resized the thumbnail images and reuploaded the images but the new resized images is not taking effect. I went to the backend and deleted the corresponding images but it still doesnt work.

The only remedy is to create a new product with a different name. What to do?

thanks

Hi,

I'm sorry but I don't understand your issue.
HikaShop automatically generate thumbnails based on the sizes you configure in the HikaShop settings.
So if you want different sized thumbnails, just change the settings and HikaShop will generate the new thumbnails out of the original images you uploaded.
If you directly upload new images with the same names as old ones via FTP, the thumbnails won't be regenerated. You need to delete the thumbnails folders in the images/com_hikashop/upload folder and then HikaShop will regenerate the thumbnails for you.

Hi,

Please provide:
- a link to the page with the problem you're talking about
- a screenshot of the images section of the HikaShop configuration.

Hi,

The problem comes both from the CSS in your template and the custom CSS you added in HikaShop.
Add the CSS below and it will prevent that issue:
.thumbnail .hikashop_product_image img {
max-width: none !important;
}

Sure you can.
As I said, HikaShop will automatically regenerate the thumbnails for you when it needs to.

Hi,

If you edit the HikaShop CSS file of HikaShop via the Display tab of the HikaShop configuration, the system will automatically generate an override for you:
www.hikashop.com/support/documentation/1...ize-the-display.html
Now if you want to do the override yourself, you can find the CSS files in media/com_hikashop/css/
