-- HikaShop version -- : 2.6.3.

Hi,

I am very new with joomla and hikashop and i like to buy a ready template for the beginning. But i need a template where no everything is moving and flying around, i like it modern but not so much, because i have many older clients. I like this template, demo.joomlavi.com/#J30/jv-fashion but this template has no currency changes and this is very important for me, currency's and languages. Where i can find more Templates? Or does anybody knows a template, modern but not so much with currency's and languages?

Thanks for help.
Kind Regards
Alexandra

Hi again,

Unfortunately, and like with many or most other extensions, I wouldn't know of only one single Joomla template claiming to be rightfully "HikaShop ready", meaning:
- having really all necessary customizations on board (complete = for all views, and yes, for the Business Edition)
- customizations made for the actual HikaShop version of the Business Edition (!)
- the customizations made thoroughly and well
- not requiring you to finish more or less of the work
and
- frequently and properly updated in sync with Joomla and HikaShop updates

Having said that, I might have overlooked the "golden nugget" in the market, and then I'd also be very interested in knowing about it and taking a closer look.

But realistically you'll end up with something that's somewhat "unfinished", which you then also need to maintain yourself at least when it comes to HikaShop updates. So, count on you needing to invest some time yourself... provided you can do it yourself, e.g. with the help of existing docs and forum posts and the great support here... or some extra $ for hiring someone to do it for you.

Bottom line:
Look around among "HikaShop ready" Joomla templates to find the basic concept and style closest to your needs. The rest as usual: make sure its built on a common, widely-spread "framework", check their support responsiveness and tools, and other users' reviews.

Hello,

I feel there are some misunderstandings in your words... Currency switcher is managed by HikaShop AND wil be displayed in column that usually will be dressed by your template, so if you don't see a currency switcher on this demo screenshot example it's quite normal. You can just configure it via the Joomla modules manager to have it displayed where you want in a template position, even if they don't showcase it.

You can find lots of template designed for fit HikaShop needs, here .
Of course our customers will be able to advice you, we use for our demo website, the JSN Glass PRO by Joomlashine.

But, as said earlier you have to adapt all of this to fit your needs AND have all of this smoothed out.

Regards.

Hello Philippe,

Thank you for your answer.

Only for my understanding, when i purchase this Hikashop Template and i turn on the currency switcher, the switcher will automatically appear in this Template? And this is with all templates from your page "designed for fit HikaSho" the same?

And now i like to know how the professionals do a template? Is there any Editor? How they make it responsive? etc?

Regards,
Alexandra

Hey,

I dare "jumping in" again... ;)

The HikaShop Currency Switcher is a module which you can, like all modules in Joomla, publish to a position which you must choose from the available template module positions. So, it doesn't come "fixed" with a template, but like pretty much every other content, it's up to you and your site design/layout where it will appear, and on which pages.

If you're new to Joomla, you may learn more about it at joomla.org and from other resources.

Same for template creation, responsiveness, and other basics of Joomla and/or web development/design: it would take writing a looooooong story here, which isn't the ideal place, but which has already been written elsewhere... so, google your heart out! ;)

Hi,

We do not create or sale templates ; so we are not able to answer to you correctly.
But in Joomla, with any template, when you add a module in a available position, that module is displayed.
