Adding same shipping rule to mutiple countries

Is is possible to add a shipping rule to multiple countries? I have shipment rules for all the counties in Europe and for some of the counties the same shipping rules apply. I now have to copy a particular set of rules and change them for every country. This is a lot of work. It would save me a couple of hours id this is possible. Is there a solution or trick how I can do this?

Hi,

It's simple: use "Shipping Zones".

Create one shipping zone for each group of countries, and add countries to those zones.
Then create shipping methods and restrict each to a zone as per your needs.
