No confirmation e-mail after paying in 2.6.4.

-- Joomla version -- : 3.6.2
-- PHP version -- : 7

Hi Hikashop,

I think this has something to do with update 2.6.4.

When a customer pay for a order there is no status e-mail send with order status changed to confirmed.
On the backend the order looks fine and the status is automatic set to confirmed.

When you change the order status on the backend to created end back to confirmed the e-mails is send. But that's not the issue. It has to be automatic after a customer payed for the order.

Hope you can take a quick look. I checked on a second webshop with Hikashop and found also the problem over there,

Hi,

Can you please provide more details about your current configuration, like :
What payment method are you using ?
Do you have custom emails ?
Do you have some errors logged in your PHP error log ?

If the email are not sent it would be related to an error which stop the process between the order modification in the database and the email notification (or in the email itself).

Hi Jerome,

I use Mollie (test account) for payment and I get a successful payment view after doing a test payment.

I have a custom view but when I delete this there is also no e-mail sent.

I have looked to the error log but there are no errors last month.

Again it's only not sending a e-mail when you do a payment through te shop.
When you do it manual on the backend the e-mail is sending perfect.

Hi,

If it works when you manually change the status in the backend and that it doesn't when the status is changed automatically by a third party payment plugin, it feels more related to that payment plugin than HikaShop.
Check if you see the email in the Email history of HikaShop.
Also, you could test with PayPal and a sandbox account to see if you get the email when the PayPal payment notification changes the order status to confirmed.
As a matter of fact, we've have many (hundreds if not thousands) of merchants already updating to HikaShop 2.6.4 and no one yet reported a problem with HikaShop not sending order status notifications to customers.
This is a critical piece of an online shop and would have been notified to us several times one or two days after the release.
So I highly doubt that the problem is in HikaShop (and of course, if I do a test with a PayPal payment on our end with the 2.6.4, it works).
Maybe you need to update your payment plugin ? And maybe you want to contact the support of that payment plugin. They might be able to help on that end too.
