Hello,

My client asked me to go live with her shopping cart this week. Upon going into the configuration to make changes, I found that I could save changes to the checkout flow - but other areas like the "Show Add to Cart button" I cannot save. I get this error message:

Message

No SEF category and product names entered. Please complete at least one of these two fields. The system put back the default values
Successfully Saved

Please note, my SEF category and product names are entered. Here's a screenshot.

I have reset all permissions using Admin Tools.

I have also checked the database and everything shows ok.
I've also checked the database and they are entered there as well. I really need to get this cart live as soon as possible, so I manually changed a few settings in the database - add to cart changed from 0-1. This is very time consuming, so I do hope to hear from you today.

Thanks for your help.

Hi,

This indicates that your server has some kind of limitation on the number of parameters which can be passed through a form and the configuration page has more parameters than that.
So you need to increase that limitation.
You'll probably ahve to contact your hosting company to check with them about that.

Dear Nicholas,

It turns out that saving the configuration file was being thwarted by my newly upgraded server. With easyapache4 a new multiphp.ini handler was installed. It has default settings for various things like memory_limit etc. The setting that was not allowing the form to save was max_input_vars. It was set to 128. I worked with my server team and they recommended 1000. This has resolved the ability to save. Thank you for your patience and guidance as we worked through this.

Warm Regards,

Dawn
