Hi Hikashop,

Recently a Customer alerted me to an issue on my webstore. Things seem to work ok with browsing products until the user logs in. Then the reported error message is displayed. This problem has only occurred recently after updating Joomla to the current release. When first noticed, my Hikashop version was out of date. It was then updated and this seemed to help a little but not entirely.

Do you have any ideas on the problem and a fix?

Regards,
Jason.

Hi,

It doesn't seem to be something related to HikaShop.
Looking online I found this:
forum.joomla.org/viewtopic.php?t=938151
Based on what it says there, it only happens when logged in with the administrator account. So it should work fine for normal registered accounts.

I also see that all the javascript on your page is compressed by some extension which stores that in the folder t3-assets. So apparently you're using a template based on the framework t3 and deactivating the js compression in it might solve the problem.

Hi Nicolas,

Quite the opposite before I updated to the latest Hikashop. The administrator had no problem accessing the products but normal registered users did.
I'm using the Purity 3 template which does use the T3 framework. Your suggestion to look at the compression seems to be right on the money. Rather than deactivating the compression I have the option to select the JS compression tool. It was set to closure compiler which wasn't working with your Hikashop but by selecting JSmin all seems to be good now. :-)

Thanks for your help.

Cheers,
Jason.
