-- HikaShop version -- : 2.6.4

Hi,

My company would like to buy the Hikashop Business edition and the HikaMarket Front-édition.

My question is : How does it work here if one of my colleagues buys the software with his account, and I am the developer who needs the Personal support via e-mail via my own account on hikashop (different mail domains)?

How do we install the Business edition knowing that we have already made some development on the Starter Edition ?

Hi,

The license is attached to an account but it is also attached to one website (domain).
In the "my subscription" page you can manage your licenses and specify the production website url.
www.hikashop.com/my-account/your-subscriptions.html

Afterwards, when an account without a license have a question, he generally need to provide a link to the website he is working on ; and in our side we can check the license and see the history.

Hi Jerome,
just to have confirm and know if something is changed.

- HikaShop / HikaSerial / HikaMarket when bought can be installed on unlimited domains.
- The license limit the support to one website, no more. There are no feature restrictions.
- There is no HikaShop / HikaSerial / HikaMarket unlimited domains support versions. If we need support for a second / third domain, we have to buy another license.

Am I right ?

Hi,

1. Yes
2. The licence limit the support, the auto update system and the cron task system to one website. Basically, all the services we provide with the commercial editions.
3. For HikaSerial and HikaMarket, we don't have a multi-support license yet, so yes, it would require the purchase of another license.
However for HikaShop we actually published a multi-license edition called Multisites which does exactly what you're talking about:

We're still working on modifying our website structure to accomodate it and will probably publish similar editions for the other extensions next year.
