Dear all,

Is there Meta description for the product home page? I know there is for each product page, but I can't find it the products main home page. Now the meta description is empty. Thank you very much.

For the listings of products, you need to configure the meta description in the category used for the listing.

Hi,

When you edit a category in the backend, you can find that field just below its description field:

It's not possible that you don't have a category.
Please provide a screenshot of the page when you go to Products>Categories in HikaShop.

Hello,

Yes, you do not have any "sub category" but you do have a "product category".
You can't create a product without a category ; so your products are still in a category, even if you did not create it yourself. Right ?

And afterwards ; Please note that Joomla itself provide some features around meta tags within menu configuration.

Yes but I can't find ways to create Meta Description either in sub category nor in Joomla Menu configuration. Joomla Menu configuration work fine in all of the pages for Meta description, only this Hikashop shopping list page can't work. Do you have idea how to solve it? Thank you a lot.

Hi,

I think the issue is that hikashop has a tricky edit button if you don't know it.

Please press root category and then edit icon near your product category. You will be able to edit meta description there. Screenshot attached.
