No cart when logging in after selecting product

-- HikaShop version -- : 3.2
-- Joomla version -- : 3.8

Hi,
when I log in as customer and then select a product, the checkout works and shows fine as on image one.
Yet
When I select the same product when not logged in and proceed to check out, I will be asked to register or log in. All good. When logging in, the checkout shows incomplete as on image 2. No cart on the right side, no points to earn and so on...

Hi, the shop can be reached under www.jetshop24.net

Select an item um der Superstore, click 'add to cart' than proceed to checkout, register or log in (you have a test login from time before), then login and you will see the missing issue like 'points to earn missing

Hi,

I tried to create an account but never got the activation email and I tried two test accounts you had provided before but they didn't work. So I couldn't look into it.
Please provide a test user account so that we can move forward.

Hi,
go to the Jetshop24 Superstore on the homepage, and then go to Womens Clothes and Accessories, choose any product there.
After choosing the color, click add to cart.
Then in the pop up select proceed to checkout.
Than log in.
The screenshot here shows, that in my case there is no cart on the right hand side, and worse, no points to earn, just the points balance.

Hi,

For the points issue, it looks like a refresh issue. Try changing the "checkout legacy" setting of the HikaShop configuration in order to use the new checkout and that should help.

For the module, that's because you're in a menu item where that module is not displayed.
In the HikaShop configuration, use the "force menu on checkout" setting to select a menu item of the type HikaShop which has that module displayed (in the menu assignment setting of the module) and the module will then always display on the checkout regardless from where you're accessing the checkout.

Hi Nicolas,
thanks and that seems to have worked. Yet a new problem occurred.
As seen on the screen shot, it shows on the top right hand side that the item was added, but no cart appears on the right hand side and no option, like in legacy mode, to proceed to check out or continue shopping. So now there is no prompt to log in or proceed to check out. The top right hand side message disappears after 5 seconds and thats it.

Hello,

There is no "missing" cart for what I can see.
There is no cart module configured or display in the position you're pointing.
So if there is no module, they can't be any cart.

Now, if you take a look at your documentation or blog article ; you'll see that you can configure a plugin for the cart notification.
Thus you could change the way it's display, etc
