Paypal order confirmed and paypal pro

Hi,
i want to test the status of the order when we are redirected to 'after_end' or 'end' after a paypal payment.
I use $this->order->order_status
But it seems that the order is always in the status 'created' and not confirmed; when i check the status in the 'my orders' i can see that the status is 'confirmed'.
I believe it is because I don't have a paypal pro account; but when i want to set up paypal pro in hikashop, though i see the HikaShop PayPal Pro payment plugin (see screen shot attached) when i click on it to configure it, then i come to a screen that doesn't seem to be for paypal pro, but just for paypal (see 2nd screen shot)

Thanks for your answer; please can you tell me:
1/ what is the best way(and for how long) to ‘wait and test’ that the notification is received and the order confirmed?
2/ if , by viewing the PayPal configuration screen attached, this is really PayPal pro? If not how can I have access to it?

I could not find a documentation of what the Hikashop Paypal Advanced payment doing; can you please provide a description?
In fact I am looking at a plugin that enables recurring payment (subscription type); I saw on forums that there is a HIkashop recurring plugin but I can't find it either in my standard list nor on the Marketplace/payment of hikashop site. Doesn't it exist anymore? Do you know if there is another similar plugin ?
