Hi
Is it possible to export all Hikashop from my webpage and install it on a new joomla installation on xampp?
I would like to build a clean joomla installation.

Hi,

Yes. I would recommend to export all the tables with hikashop_ in them via your PHPMyAdmin. Then, import that on your new website's database with PHPMyAdmin, and then install HikaShop there.
Also, copy the files/folders in images/com_hikashop/upload/ and media/com_hikashop/upload/ (or the folders you configured under the "files" section of the Hikashop configuration ) via FTP from the old to the new website.

All that will be left is to reconfigure your modules and menu items to link to HikaShop's content on your new website.

I have to import database first, and then install Hikashop?
It is installed now and when I import the imported files are just next to the installations files. Like double of the same files but starts with different letters?

Hi,

It's indeed better to first import the data in the database and then run the HikaShop install.Otherwise, you first need to delete the hikashop tables from the databae before importing the data in the database so that the HikaShop tables can be recreated with the data from the old website.

What files are you talking about ?
The upload folder should be empty by default. So you couldn't have that question since the files you got from the upload folder in your old website shouldn't be present on the new website.

Ok, but I already installed Hika.
Should I uninstall Hika again and remove all Hika database files and start all over?

First import the database from the old website to the new page and install Hikashop again?

Hi,

No. Just delete the tables with the prefix hikashop_ in the database of the new website before importing the tables export file from the old website and then run the HikaShop install again and you should be fine.

When I import database all change front name from gxvmh_Hikashop_...... to spqoc_Hikashop_.....?
And the page do not work. The menu in backend has disappeared?
In my online shop it is called spqoc_hikashop_..........
In the new installation gxvmh_hikashop_.......
But when I import the database is like the old spqoc?
