Order Status emails

Hi,

This is a quick question hopefully - I have been looking for the answer, but just need some clarification.

Currently, my customers receive two order status emails: one when the order is created, and the second when the order is confirmed.

Is there a way to set emails so that the customers only receive the order status email when the order is confirmed.

Any guidance as always greatly appreciated.
