Upgrading Hikashop & Joomla 4

Hi guys,

I can't seem to find any documentation on how to upgrade HikaShop to Joomla 4.

I'm planning to upgrade both so if you have any documentation can you please point me to it.

Hi,

Update HikaShop to the latest version, update Joomla, and that's it.
HikaShop itself doesn't require anything to work on Joomla 4.
The problem will come from old plugins you had installed for HikaShop and you didn't update (if any), or old view overrides you made for HikaShop which need to be updated (if any).

So will it work ok then the other way around, which is, upgrade the site to Joomla 4 first then install HikaShop?

Hi,

You should first update HikaShop. An old version of HikaShop won't work properly on Joomla 4.
