I have not tested this extensively, but yesterday I added products to my cart.
Then today I upgraded Hikashop to 5.0.0. Added some more products. Then I logged in as my test user and added some more. At that point, the Shopping Cart module total was not matching the total shown on the checkout page. I even reloaded the page to make sure. Then I clicked the X button on the module to remove them, and a different total appeared, still not matching the actual cart total. Finally after I clicked the X button again and emptied the cart, things were totalling again properly.
