Just want to thank you for the latest version and the cool stuff that came along with it

Also, is there plans on a points system, refer a friend or something else planned in the near future for Hikashop? Or should we implement alpha user points and awo referral?

Prefer to use the in house stuff as it always works better

There is no plan for that for now.
The AlphaUserPoints integration is quite nice and allows to do really advanced stuff which we wouldn't be able to do since it is integrated with lot of other extensions.
AWOReferal is a nice piece which was missing in the ecosystem of HikaShop. We didn't had much feedback by users for it so can't say much more than what we saw.

We still have a lot of stuff to do before doing stuff that is already available. We are currently working on multi vendor, reccuring payments, joomla 3.0 and a few more payment plugins.

So in short, I would advise to more forward with these solutions.
