joomla user activation email not working

-- HikaShop version -- : 4.5.1
-- Joomla version -- : 3.10.8

Hello!

When a user registers via a hikashop registration form and an admin must activate that account, no notification email is sent to the user to notify them that the account is activated. I'm just asking in case it has something to do with the Hikashop and Joomla intergration!

Hi,

The admin notification is done on the joomla side so HikaShop takes no part in it.
However, it seems you're not the only one with a similar issue:

Reading into it, it seems that there is no email notification when a user is confirmed from the backend interface, only when the user is confirmed from the frontend interface of joomla. So maybe that's why the user doesn't get the email ?
