order status confirmed by default

I want to know if there is a way to put the order status to confirmed directly, I mean skip the created status.

Hi,

Sure. You could simply change the status selected under the "created" column of the System>Order statuses menu.
However, beware that this means you won't be able to differentiate orders created and not paid and orders created and paid as they will both have the "confirmed" status.
