Want orders to skip the "created" step and go straight to "Confirmed"

My client's orders are going through properly to PayPal, and clients receive a PayPal confirmation that payment is complete. Customers also see our Thank You page on Joomla. But in Hikashop, orders stay in the "Created" state and never get "Confirmed" unless we manually confirm them.

How do we fix this issue since the PayPal portion of the transaction IS working?

Of the 15 points in your list only one was applicable; the list of IP addresses. I had clicked Refresh IPs during setup. I removed the list, and now the orders are being confirmed automatically. It makes no sense to me that it should make a difference but whatever!

I have a second issue but I will file a separate request for that one.
