Download it and install it on your website. Then try again. It should hopefully work properly.

Hi,

The latest version is the 4.1.0 :
www.hikashop.com/support/documentation/5...ashop-changelog.html
We didn't activate yet the auto update as we're still waiting for more feedbacks on the 4.1.0 before letting anyone update.
In the mean time, you can download the HikaShop install package in the menu My account>My subscriptions on our website and install it on yours. That will do the update and you won't have that error anymore.

Hello,

I'm sorry but can you precise what you mean by :
"did not grab any details from customer"

I mean in our minds, if you process an Paypal Express without been logged there is no details to grab...
And so, can you precise with more details what exactly you expect.

Awaiting news from you
Regards

Hi Philip,

Thank you for your reply.

I would expected to return to a page with thank you message or order complete message with customer order details.

I know customer can fill in shipping address and receiver name at paypal express checkout page, and they can proceed to pay after filling it in.

What I thought was this details ( customer name, address and order details ) should show after return to our website.

Is it correct that paypal express checkout work this way?

Hope to hear from you soon.

Thank you.

Regards,
Jern

Hi,

Wait, there are several issues here.
Up until now, the issue was that the return page didn't include the link to the order details page.
The code modifications we did was for that. To get these modifications, you need to have HikaShop 4.1.0 and THEN install the PayPal express checkout plugin install package given here: www.hikashop.com/forum/payment-methods/8...turn-url.html#307184
If you didn't install the plugin after updating your HikaShop, you didn't get the patch so make sure you do that. Then, you should get the link properly on the thank you page.

Now, regarding the address details, there is indeed a mechanism in the plugin to use the address in the HikaShop order with the information entered on the PayPal Express payment pages.
This requires the "address override" setting to be activated in the plugin AND that the user isn't already logged in on your website or didn't already fill in his shipping address as a guest user before going to PayPal.

Hi,

I have try everything but it still not working. Its been quite a long time until now this issue still not fix.
The website have to go live now, I have no much time on testing this. So I am using the advanced module manager that you send to me for adding a custom message in the force checkout page.

I have one problem now for that, I need to position of the custom message in the correct place.

I am not able to find the file for re-position it. Can you look and let me know how it can be done?

Hi,

I don't see how I can help you. The link you provided doesn't go to the page of your screenshot, and I don't know the positions available on your template nor the menu item used on that screenshot nor its settings.
So I'm in the dark.
If you want to know which positions are available you can do like that:
www.balbooa.com/knowledgebase/32-documen...-positions-in-joomla

Also, you might actually be able to include your module in a HikaShop view file if it's a HikaShop menu item. So you can try activating the "Display view files" setting of the HikaShop configuration so see if you have a Hikashop view file for the area where you want to add your text. If yes, then you can edit that view file via the menu Display>Views and directly add your text there, at the beginning.

Hi,

So you can edit the file "after_end" via the menu Display>Views. There, write your text at the top. It should hopefully work.
