confirmation of payment by Stripe

Hi

We have Stripe as a payment choice on the website and this is working, however once the card details have been input, successfully, there is not confirmation direct in the website, just from an email generated.

It would be helpful if we could have a confirmation pop up so the customer knows the payment has gone through. Is there an easy way for us to set this up ie return URL with a page specifically to say check your email etc, or would this be something required for a paid plugin from stripe.

Hello,

Fist, which Stripe plugin are you using ?

In HikaShop payment plugin you can configure the "return url" which is a thank you page. When the payment is done and validate, the customer is redirected to that page.
For some payment plugin, the confirmation of the payment is made in a second time, like for example with Paypal which use a "server-to-server" system to indicate that the payment has been successfully made. That notification can be receive several minutes after the order ; so it is very complicated in such case to have a notification within the website.
