Hello,

I use two different payment method on my website, paypal and sips atos v2.

Will they stop working on september 14th 2019? if yes what do I have to change to make it working after this date.

I have another website using SIPS ATOS V1, Stripe and Paypal

I heard that for Stripe there's a new plugin available on the marketplace that i have to buy but for sips atos V1 will it continue working and paypal?

For this second website i have a business account on paypal - Is the problem the same as for the first one.

Should i open a new post for the second website.

Thanks for your reply and for your great component

Regards

Patrick

Hi,
I have the same question about Paypal.
I didn't find any clear answer about that until now.
I use the standard Paypal payment plugin for now.
Is Paypal Advanced is PSD2 - SCA compatible ?
Or do I have to change something in Paypal account ?
Best regards.

Hi,

Regarding Stripe, a completely new plugin had to be developed to comply with the changes.

Regarding PayPal, from what I could read online, you won't have anything to do unless you're using the PayPal Pro plugin:
www.jotform.com/blog/is-paypal-psd2-compliant/
www.paypal.com/uk/webapps/mpp/psd2
As PayPal Pro is only available in a few countries, most people using PayPal with HikaShop are not concerned.
Making PayPal Pro compliant will require the development of a new plugin for Cardinal. I've had a look and it's a big mess to implement.
PayPal Advanced is not mentioned, but I think you'll be fine since the payment form is still displayed by PayPal.
And for PayPal Standard, you're in the clear.

Regarding SIPS ATOS, as far as I could read no modification is required.

Basically, as long as the payment form is on the payment gateway side, it should not require any change in the payment plugin.
Still, we're working on new versions of the PayPlug and Monetico plugins as even though the payment form is on their send they require additional information to be sent to them.
So far, we haven't been notified about other payment gateways requiring a change.

Thank you very much Nicolas, I feel better knowing that paypal and sips atos should work.

I read that you will make an announcement when Stripe plugin will be ready

Stripe is a very interesting payment solution i will certainly buy the plugin when it is available.

Thanks again

Patrick
