-- Joomla version -- : 3.10.1
-- PHP version -- : 7.4.22
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : Chrome
-- Error-message(debug-mod must be tuned on) -- : When trying to use the sagepay payment method I get the error:
PHP extension mcrypt must be enabled on my hosting set up - is that correct?

My hosting provider is saying this is not possible on shared hosting - can you please advise

Hello,

You need to download the latest version of the SagePay plugin which has been updated some time ago in order to migrate from "mcrypt" to "openssl".
